Adrian and Steph live in Wellington, New Zealand. Wanting to propose to Steph, Adrian came across Wilshi online and was "super keen" to use one of the proposal rings when he popped the question. He also had a very cool idea for the proposal itself!
One beautiful Sunday afternoon, Adrian asked his friend to hide the Wilshi ring in a geocache on Mount Victoria, one of Wellington's most romantic lookout spots. Luck would have it that Steph suggested a walk up Mount Victoria and on the way decided to see if any geocaches were around. There really was a bit of magic involved! Steph navigated to the exact geocache where Adrian's Wilshi was hiding.
"So everything was really her idea, hence her confusion when she found the Wilshi and then I dropped to one knee. She couldn't process the situation or figure out what I had done until I pulled the box from under my beanie and popped the question myself".
