A thoughtful treasure hunt which sends your other half on a trip down memory lane is the perfect way to turn a proposal into a fun day out. As with all good treasure hunts, you can save the best till last - you down on one knee, holding a ring.
That's how Jason Martin chose to propose to his girlfriend, Georgia, when his original plan of a romantic helicopter ride was cancelled due to bad weather. Instead, he organised a treasure hunt that sent Georgia to meaningful spots around Wellington, such as where they met and where they had their first date. The hunt ended atop Mount Victoria, where Jason got down on one knee and popped the question.
