A man in the Netherlands was probably quite pleased with himself for planning a grand marriage proposal for his girlfriend. With a crane at the ready, he intended to drop down by her window and pop the question. However, things didn't go to plan. The hefty crane tipped over and came crashing down through the roof of a neighbour's house and then caused more damage while attempts were made to fix the situation. No one was hurt, and the man's girlfriend said yes to the marriage! Maybe she'll keep her husband-to-be away from cranes in the future.
It sounds like it was an expensive ordeal. The man could have used a Wilshi temporary engagement ring and saved himself a lot of trouble!
